Hirako Shinji is a fictional character from
Bleach.His first appearence is from chap.183,
entitled;
Eyes of the Unknown from vol.21 (the tankoban came out last March 2oo6).He was fist seen overlooking a battle
between Kurosaki Ichigo (the protagonist of the story) and a hollow.Later on,Shinji reappeared at Karakura High
and introduced himself to Ichigo and his classmates as a newly transfered student.Note that the reason why numorous people thought in the begining that Shinij was
Ichimaru Gin
is because the blond vaizard speaks in a Japanese group dialect known as
Kansai-ben (a group of related dialects found in the Kansai region of Japan..
Just listen to how Ichimaru speaks in the anime and you'll understand ^_~).
Shinji is part of a group of renegade
shinigami who wish to aquire
Hollow powers.Their motives are unclear...
Soul Society sees them as criminals.
They identify themselves as
Vaizards (the spelling may differ; Vizard,Visored,etc.).You may say that
Vaizards are the setting opposites of
Arrancars(Hollows who have removed their mask to gain Shinigami abilities).
The rogue shingami have the appearrances of humans.They carry
zanpakutô like any other shinigami and can materialize a hollow mask when needed.
None of the present vaizards have shown their soul cutter's release...We aren't even sure how they work...
Up to chap.214 (
Immanent God Blues), 8 vaizards have revealed themselves;
Hiyori Sarugaki, Risa Yadômaru, Hacchi, Rabu, Kensei Muguruma, Mashiro, Rozu.
Urahara Kisuke mentioned that these
outcasts would mostly be valuable assets in the upcoming battle (that will take place during Winter) against
Aizen Sôsuke...
